Taghazout sits 19 km north of Agadir, along the coastal road that runs from Anza to Tamri. The drive from AGA airport takes 45 minutes, mostly along the cliffs.
From your camp, every famous wave is within 10-15 minutes: Anchor Point at the south end, Banana Beach center, Killer Point and Boilers heading north toward Tamraght and Aourir.
The N1 coastal road is well-paved but single-lane in places. Take it slow on the cliffs — the views are too good to rush. Sunset drives back from Anchor are a Taghazout ritual worth respecting.
Local tip
Park early at Anchor Point on weekends — the lot fills before 9 AM in winter season. Free parking opposite the small mosque.

Can I fit surfboards inside the car?
The Dacia Logan and Sandero Stepway both fit 2-3 surfboards inside (up to 7'2") if you put down the rear seats. For 6.0+ shortboards or longboards, we'll attach a free roof rack. Tell us your board count when booking and we'll prep the right car.
How much is delivery to Taghazout from AGA?
Free. Whether you land at Agadir Al Massira airport and want the car delivered straight to your surf camp, or you're already at your hotel and just need wheels — delivery to Taghazout is included in your daily rate. No hidden fees.
Is the coastal road safe to drive?
Yes — the N1 from Agadir to Taghazout is a well-maintained two-lane coastal road. It can be single-lane through some cliff sections, with slow trucks ahead. Drive at your own pace, especially around blind curves. Most foreign visitors find it easy. No tolls.
Can I drop the car back at AGA when I leave?
Yes — same price, same service. We'll collect the car from your surf camp on departure day and you take a taxi to AGA, OR we deliver the car to AGA and meet you there. Whichever works for your flight. Just let us know when booking.
