In 2018, I flew to Russia for the FIFA World Cup. Just another football fan, watching matches in cities I'd never seen, getting around with — surprisingly — a rental car.
What struck me wasn't the football. It was how easy renting was. Clear pricing on the receipt. No deposit on my card. No three-page contract in a language I didn't read. The agent met me with my keys and a smile, then drove off in his own car. I had four days, an open road, and zero anxiety.
I'd never had that experience as a tourist anywhere else.
I came home thinking the same thing every day on my commute to my office job: tourists flying into Agadir deserve exactly this. The same simplicity. The same trust. The same human handover at arrivals.
A year later, in 2019, I left finance and started AgadirDrive with three cars — a Hyundai, a Dacia, and a small workhorse for cheaper rentals. I delivered every car personally. I answered every WhatsApp myself. I still do.
The fleet is ten now. Over five hundred travelers have rented from us. The promise hasn't changed.
