Driving from RAK, explained.
Marrakech-Menara Airport (RAK) is 6 km southwest of central Marrakech. The drive to the Medina takes 15-20 minutes via Avenue Mohammed VI — wide, well-lit, easy navigation. No tolls.
Heading toward Atlas day trips? The S501 to Imlil starts right outside the city. Going west to Essaouira? 2.5 hours via the N8. South to the Sahara? 4 hours over the Tizi N'Tichka pass — spectacular but slow in winter.
Driving in Marrakech is straightforward outside the Medina walls. Wide boulevards, clear signage, normal traffic flow. Inside the Medina — leave the car parked outside the walls and walk in.
Local tip
Fill up at the Shell or Afriquia station 1 km from RAK on Avenue Mohammed VI — significantly cheaper than the airport-side stations and always open.

We meet you at the main exit of the Arrivals hall, Terminal 1. Look for our agent holding a sign with your name. Free 15-minute parking is in Zone P1, 100 meters from the terminal exit.

Where exactly do you meet me at Marrakech Airport?
We wait at the Arrivals hall exit, right after customs. Our agent holds a sign with your name. We monitor your flight in real time, so even if you're delayed, we'll be there when you walk out. Most pickups happen within 5-10 minutes of you grabbing your luggage.
What if my flight is delayed or arrives early?
We track your flight automatically using your flight number. Delays don't cost you anything. Early arrival? Same — we'll be there. Even night flights at 2 AM are no problem; tell us your flight number when booking and that's it.
Do you charge airport pickup or drop-off fees?
No. Because we are based in Agadir, pickup at Marrakech Airport costs €60. Drop-off at RAK is also available on request.

Can I drop the car at RAK when I leave?

What documents do I need at pickup?
Your passport (original), driving license (original — no copies, held for at least 2 years), and a credit card or cash for payment. International customers need either a license in Latin script or an International Driving Permit.
